I grew-up in Ypsilanti, MI the daughter of a teacher. I received my Associates Degree from W.C.C. in Liberal Arts and went on to a B.A. in Early Childhood Education. After graduating, my husband and I moved to Ft. Rucker, AL where he attended Army flight school and became a UH-60 Blackhawk pilot. We then moved to Ft.Lewis, WA, and Ft. Campbell, KY where I was an Education Specialist, Assistant Director, Preschool, Kindergarten, and Third grade teacher for the Department of the Army. I earned my M.A.Ed. from Austin Peay State U. in Clarksville, TN. We moved back home in 2003 and are now residing in Brighton after 15 moves! I've been with AAPS since 2004 as a teacher.
I am the proud mom of a U of M student! I enjoy boating, kayaking, gardening, travel, cooking and riding motorcycles with my husband.
