My name is Ellen O'Malley McGee and I teach at Haisley Elementary School.  I have taught 2nd, 3rd, and now 4th grades.  I truly enjoy teaching and am always eager to meet a new group of kids.  I also love hearing from my former students too.  

I am an Ann Arborite and went to Burns Park (moved to the west side), Slauson, and Pioneer.  I attended Washtenaw Community College and recieved a degree in Graphic Design.  I then attended Eastern Michigan University where I earned my degree in education.  I attended Marygrove College for my masters program, specializing in reading.  I am also a certified art teacher, although I've never been in an art position (not as many jobs available!) and I fell in love with having my own set of kids EVERY day and wouldn't want to be an art teacher...but, I do a LOT of art in my classroom.  

I live on the west side of Ann Arbor with my husband Doogie and English Springer Spaniel Presley.
