Summer Learning Institute - SLI
The goal of the Summer Learning Institute (SLI) is to bolster student achievement in order to set students up for success when school resumes in the fall. Students are recommended by their classroom teachers based on academic outcomes and criteria. Students may only attend one of the sessions. A Family Orientation Night will be held before the start of the program, further details will be sent to students who are enrolled.
Two sessions of SLI for rising 2nd and rising 3rd grade will be held at Ann Arbor Open school, Session 1: July 10 – July 21, and Session 2: July 24 - August 4. The two sessions run Monday - Friday all day from 8:30-3:30.
One session of SLI: Fraction Academy for rising 4th grade will run July 24 – August 4, from 8:30-3:30 at Ann Arbor Open School. The learning goals in this session will focus on Fraction Standards in Numbers and Operations.
