Rules are the "reverse" of normal Corec competitive play. Only female players may block, or hit in front of the attack line. Games to 21 points, round robin, "call-your-own" format.**Corec Sunday Quads is a 'call your own' recreational league for Open, Advanced or Intermediate players that features a round-robin style of play during the weekly two-hour sessions. If a Sunday Quads league has a 7th team, the league will last 14 weeks (12 weeks of play and 2 'bye' weeks) instead of 12 weeks with no byes.NIGHTS OF PLAY
All 6-player teams (except Instructional) play 10 matches and start on THURSDAY, Sept. 5, 2019. Corec Sunday Quads plays 12-14 weeks and starts Sept. 8, 2019. Corec Instructional plays 8 weeks and starts September 23, 2019.REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

Monday, July 22, 2019 July 23 - July 31, 2019All team registrations are due by 4:30 on July 31, 2019. Teams submitting registrations after this date may be added until Aug. 3 IF there is an opening in their league. All registration is on a first-come, first-served, space-available basis. When a league fills, it may be closed, regardless of date. Some leagues have been known to fill on the first day. If a league you want is showing "full", contact the league director (email@example.com) to get on the wait list. Sometimes things change.Captains do not need to know WHO all their players are before they register a team. To ensure getting a spot in the league, captains are encouraged to register promptly July 22 or 23, then finish confirming their players. Team rosters are not due until August 29, 2019.Pre-registration is open to all returning Rec & Ed volleyball teams that played in a league during Winter or Sand 2019 or Fall 2018. A team must meet one of the following criteria in order to be considered a returning team:(2) Have a returning captain(3) Have four returning players with signatures (2 for Quad leagues)Open registration is for all new teams or returning teams that did not participate in the league during the previous year.THREE WAYS TO REGISTER A VOLLEYBALL TEAM
Team registration forms and player contracts are available on the forms & rules section of this website.You may also register your team before the start of the registration period, if this is more convenient. Doing so, however, does NOT give you priority over those registrations received by online or walk-in registration. Priority is given to online and walk-in registrations throughout the registration period.Captain's packets are only sent to captains that request them. They are mailed out within 3 days. Please call the office at 994-2300 x 0 if you do not receive your packet in a timely fashion. All captain's forms are also available online.Sponsor fees are due at the time of registration: July 22-31, 2019. Any team wanting to join after July 31 can do so until Aug 2, 2019 if a spot is still open in their desired league. Generally, teams would not be added after this date, but feel free to contact Karen at firstname.lastname@example.org to check.NOTE: once a league is full, it may be closed, regardless of date or deadlines. Captains may send anyone they wish to drop off these items.Rec & Ed accepts cash, credit cards (Visa, American Express, and Mastercard only), money orders, certified, corporate checks, or a single check from the team sponsor, captain, or a designated team member for sponsor and team fees. Corporate credit cards are accepted only with prior approval from the Finance Department. No personal checks will be accepted for partial payments, late or non-resident fees. An excellent introduction to volleyball leagues for those with limited volleyball experience. Individuals without their own team will be formed into teams for this league. Monday nights for 8 weeks. Coach / Official is Mark Comstock.
