Outside of business hours you can drop off your registration form and payment in the 24 hour Lobby Drop Box. (The light will come on when you open the door.)
Phone-In (Lifelong Learning classes only)
For your convenience you can register for adult and youth classes by phone. Call 734-994-2300 ext. 53275. Generally you will leave a message and your call will be returned within one business day. We cannot accept phone-in registrations for scholarship discounts, team sports leagues or summer camps.

I’m an AAPS staff person who gets a BOE fee waiver as part of my contract. How do I use my annual BOE credit for a free class?We've made registering for your free class easy and convenient! First, choose which class or activity you’d like to participate in. Next, download the AAPS Staff Pass, which is a quick fillable Word document. You can scan and email the completed form to firstname.lastname@example.org, send a paper copy via school mail to Rec & Ed @ Pioneer, or drop it off at our office. Please note that the BOE fee waiver can only be used by the employee only, not by family members.
The on-line system won’t let me register my child. Should I try to create a new account?
No. You will create multiple accounts which can cause problems for future registrations. Please call (734) 994-2300, ext. 0., and we’ll help you.
I want to sign up for a class or a team sport, but I’m not sure I’ll be here that month. What should I do?Go ahead and enroll. If you’re unable to attend, submit your written notification at least three days before the first day of the activity per our refund policy.
How will I know if you received my registration?
You will receive an email confirmation with a link to your receipt. You can open and print the receipt for your records.

I didn’t receive my catalog in the mail. How can I get one?
Call us at 734-994-2300 ext. 0 and we will be glad to mail a catalog to you. You can also view the catalog online here.
I want to transfer out of my current class into a new class. How can I do this?You may either send an email with your transfer request to: email@example.com, call our office (734-994-2300 ext. 0) or come into our office during office hours. As long as the class/activity is still open our staff will process the transfer. Our staff will contact you if there is a problem with your request or if additional payment is needed.
Is there a fee charged for transfers?No, we do not charge a fee to transfer from one program to another. However, transfers are subject to current availability. The only fee that will be charged is if there is a difference in the price for the new class you wish to transfer into.
I registered for the wrong class. What should I do now?Please call our office (734-994-2300 ext. 0) and let our staff know. In most cases our staff will be able transfer you into the correct class
My information (name/address/phonenumber/email address) is incorrect. How can I get this corrected?Our staff will need to make these type of corrections for you. You may either send an email with your correct information to firstname.lastname@example.org, call our office (734-994-2300 ext. 0) or come into our office during office hours.
I cannot register my child because the error message says my child must be in grade X or lower. My child is in grade X but I cannot change this. What do I need to do?Please call our office (734-994-2300 ext. 0) during normal business hours or send an email to email@example.com. Our staff will make a one-time grade adjustment that will correct the grade and allow you to continue the registration process.
I did not receive a receipt. What should I do?You just need to log in to your Rec & Ed on-line account and you will be able to print out your receipt.
Can I register online using my senior discount/BOE/scholarship/gift certificate?Unfortunately, all discounts must be processed by our staff so the use of online registration is not available. (If you proceed with your online registration you will be charged the regular fee). To use your discount you will need to mail or drop off your registration in our office at 1515 S. Seventh St. As long as you have your gift card number you will be able to use that online as a form of payment.
