    2018 SCIENCE OLYMPIAD RESULTS

    What an amazing 2018 Science Olympiad Competition!
    This past Saturday our Logan 2nd, 3rd, 4th, & 5th graders competed in the BIGGEST Elementary Science Competition in the WORLD.   They competed against 39 other schools from Washtenaw County, against over 2000 students!  Over the past 4 months, our students worked very hard with their event teams and coaches to prepare for this competition.
    WE ARE SO PROUD OF THEM!

    Logan's teams placed in many events:

    2nd Grade:
    Pasta Bridges Team - 5th Place
    No Bones About it Team - 5th Place
    Estimania Team - Honorable Mention(6th-9th place)
    Map Reading Team - Honorable Mention
    Gravity Racer Team -  Honorable Mention 

    3rd Grade:
    On Target Team - 1st Place
    Estimania Team - 3rd Place

    3rd & 4th Combined:
    Water Rockets Team - 4th Place 

    4th Grade:
    Potions Team - 2nd Place
    Mystery Architecture Team - Honorable Mention

    5th Grade:
    Zip-A-Dee-Zoo-Dah-Team - 1st Place
    iCompute Team - Honorable Mention
    Water Rockets Team - Honorable Mention

    Thank you so much to all of our PARENTSScience Olympiad is 100% Volunteer run and we could not do it without you. Thank you to our Event Supervisors Mrs. Totsuka & Mrs. Majorprice! Thank you Grade Level Coordinators for helping to keep our teams organized. Thank you Event Coaches for countless hours of preparing our students over the past 4 months. Thank you to all parents who volunteered on Saturday and brought Snacks to keep us energized! Thank you to all families who came out to help cheer our Logan teams on!
