Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Beth Harrington
My name is Beth Harrington. I am the mother of 3 Bryant alumni, and without question feel Bryant is an exceptional educational environment. I have been teaching at Bryant for over twenty years and have taught kindergarten, first, and second grade. For the last ten years I have been Bryant’s full time Reading Intervention teacher.
My role as a reading teacher is to bring children who are experiencing reading struggles up to the level of their peers and to give them the assistance they need to develop independent reading strategies. Once my students are reading at a level equivalent to that of their peers, they are discontinued from Reading Intervention.
My husband and I live in Ann Arbor and have three amazing children who are currently all in college.
“The single most important activity for building the knowledge required for eventual success in reading is reading aloud to children.”
