6/24/2015 - The
Ann Arbor Public Schools Board of Education has approved contract agreements
with four employee groups: AFSCME (maintenance), AFSCME TSP (technical support
personnel), ASCSA (Rec & Ed), and AAAA (Administrators) for the upcoming
to fundraising efforts by the Ann Arbor Public Schools Educational Foundation and
donations from area businesses and individuals, Ann Arbor Public Schools will
have Project Lead the Way, a project-based
Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math programing in all middle schools
beginning in 2015-2016.
05/20/2015 - The
Writing Center at Skyline High School received an Exemplary Educational
Endeavor Award today from the Ann Arbor Ypsilanti Regional Chamber. The Writing Center is a three-year-old
program where juniors and seniors with excellent writing skills assist other
students with the writing process.
