    Marker and Highlighter Recycling

Thurston is now recycling broken markers/highlighters/dry erase marks of any brand! Bring broken items from home to school! There is a collection box in the office.
Each classroom has a collection bin as well. We did our first whole school pick up at the end of November (after starting in October) and collected 525 markers!!

    Donate to the Thurston Pantry

THANK YOU to the Thurston community for your generous donations to the Thurston Pantry this month. The Thurston Pantry is a food and supply pantry for our Thurston families in need.

We are continuing to accept donations. We are in particular need of paper products and cleaning supplies. We also accept donations of nonperishable food, kid snacks, breakfast foods (cereal, oatmeal, breakfast bars), laundry detergent, hair care, dental care, and hygiene products.   Collection bins are located in the Thurston Elementary School lobby.  Check donations are also welcome.  Donations made can go specifically toward supporting the Thurston Pantry (memo: Thurston Pantry) and can be given to the Thurston Office.
