2024-25: Welcoming All with Respect, Compassion, and Integrity

The Ann Arbor PTO Council is the support organization for PTOs throughout Ann Arbor Public Schools. Each PTO and PTSO in the district is a member.

Our mission is to promote excellence in our schools through communication and advocacy. We provide a forum for communication and cooperation, and act as an advocate for member PTOs with district administration, with the Board of Education, and beyond. Together we facilitate parent involvement, share ideas and innovations, and work to advance the quality of our schools. The PTO Council reports at Board of Education meetings, which are broadcast and available for view on the Community Television Network (CTN).

Our monthly general meetings are open to the public and often have speakers of interest to all parents, staff, and administration.

Our 2023-24 $20 for $30K Fundraiser was a success. Together we raised $55,747.12!  This was our second district-wide fundraiser to support our less-resourced schools. We believe that a lack of funding should not limit our children’s school experiences. We believe that all children deserve enrichment inside and outside the classroom.  We hope to recreate this fundraiser for the third year in the spring of 2025.
