Help Brighten A Young Person's Day as an AAPS Volunteer

Many students in our schools are looking for a caring adult to offer guidance and support.

That's where you come in!

AAPS Strategic Partnership Volunteers help brighten the day for students and give our teachers assistance that helps make their job a little easier.

Whether you are looking to gain professional skills or just enjoy hanging out with kids, becoming an AAPS Strategic Partnership Volunteer is both fun and rewarding.

Volunteer with AAPS Today! Here's How:

  1. Vist the AAPS Better Impact Site to Complete a Volunteer Application: Volunteer Application Link
    • **Please note**: this application form is only for volunteers who do not have a specific school in mind. If you just want to volunteer at a specific school DO NOT complete this application. Instead, contact the school directly.
  2. Complete an AAPS Orientation video and quiz. Instructions on how to complete the orientation will be shared once you complete the application.
  3. Clear your Background Check. AAPS will let you know when your background check is cleared.
  4. Sign up to Volunteer: Once you have been approved to volunteer, you will be able to select a volunteer opportunity that best fits your interests, availability and experience

Are you a Parent or just want to Volunteer at a specific school? Read This!

If you are a parent, family member, college student or community member that only wants to volunteer at a specific school, please follow these directions:

  1. Contact the school directly. You DO NOT need to complete the form at a2schools.org/volunteer unless directed to do so.
  2. All frequent volunteers are asked to complete the ICHAT Criminal Background check form. If you need information on the Ichat Criminal background check form, please go here.
