School Leadership
School Leadership Overview
The Ann Arbor Public Schools is committed to creating safe, inclusive and engaging learning environments where all students can thrive academically, socially and emotionally. The School Leadership Department partners closely with principals and building leadership teams to support the effective operation of schools and the successful implementation of district priorities. Through collaboration, coaching and strategic guidance, School Leadership works to strengthen instructional practices, support student well-being and foster positive school climates.
In addition, School Leadership works alongside building leaders to provide coordinated support to students, families, staff and the broader community. This includes assisting with student support systems, discipline, restorative practices, family engagement and equitable learning environments. By maintaining strong partnerships with school leaders and community stakeholders, the district strives to ensure that every school provides a safe, supportive and high-quality educational experience for all students.
