Student Devices

Beginning of the School Year

For the start of the school year, devices are issued from the student’s home school. Each school building will set the device deployment dates & times. Please look for building communications for registration/device pick-up details.

During the School Year

Once the school year starts, devices for new or returning students are prepped and sent to the student's home school for distribution.  If you are new or returning to the district during the school year and haven't received a device, please call the Student & Family Help Desk at 734-997-1222 to check on the status.

In Person Students

For students attending school in-person, the student takes their Chromebook to the building contact person, your student's teacher can inform you who this person/place is. Fill out a repair form, and leave the Chromebook/Macbook to be repaired.  We have daily loaners available to use while the assigned device is in Repair.

A2 Virtual

For students attending school virtually, please contact the Student & Family Help Desk at 734-997-1222 to schedule an appointment to swap your child’s damaged device.

Please contact the Student & Family Help Desk at 734-997-1222 so that the device can be locked down

If the device is stolen, please provide the school with a copy of a police report, if applicable.

Your student will need to fill out a Lost Device Form, you can download one here, or grab one from the school, please email your school to find out who handles this form at your building.

AAPS works with families who are having connectivity issues or are in need of internet access through our A2Schools Connects initiative to support student learning at home. Families can call the Student & Family Help Desk at 734-997-1222. Families can also send an email to family_techsupport@aaps.k12.mi.us to learn more about the program offerings.
