Mrs. Moizio
Third GradeDear Pattengill Families,
My name is Lori Moizio, and I am so excited to be your child’s 3rd grade teacher for the upcoming school year!
I have been teaching at Pattengill for 11 years. I was a Title I teacher my first 5 years at Pattengill, and I have been a 3rd grade teacher for the past 6 years. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Michigan, a Post-Baccalaureate Degree in Elementary Education from Eastern Michigan University, and a Master’s Degree in Reading from Marygrove College.
I live in Ann Arbor with my husband, Rich, and our two cats, Nacho and Cocoa. I have two sons. Jordan is an assistant product manager and Ben is a civil engineer. In my spare time, I love to spend time with my family, read and be outdoors. I love walking, hiking, biking and camping. One of my dreams is to visit all the U.S. national parks. I am also a huge animal lover!
Third grade at Pattengill is such a wonderful time. Students are transitioning from lower elementary to upper elementary, and they grow and change so much. I love to learn, and I encourage students to explore their passions and interests. I want them to experience the joy of learning. I also strive to create a safe and warm learning environment, where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions and taking risks in their learning.
I look forward to partnering with you in the coming year. Feel free to reach out to me at any time at moiziol@aaps.k12.mi.us. I know it’s going to be a wonderful year!
Warmly,
Lori Moizio
