The Vision of the English department at Pathways is to improve our students' overall Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking abilities in a way that is congruent with SAT reading and writing.  These improved abilities will manifest in not only higher test scores, but also in our students enjoyment and appreciation for literature of all kinds, as well as the value of writing competency.
