Mrs. Peplinski-Burge
World LanguageDear Pattengill Families,
This is my 16th year in the classroom, and my 13th year teaching Spanish. I love helping young learners become acquire the Spanish language in a joyful and equitable way. I have 3 children who all attend AAPS!
The goal of the program is to help students learn to communicate in Spanish. The Elementary Spanish program starts focusing on high frequency words and grammar structures and builds complexity in vocabulary based on student progress in the program. Our curriculum focuses on comprehensible input, presented
in a fun manner, and the most frequently used words in the Spanish language. To read more about the theory behind the program please visit visit my blog on
my class website.Volunteers to help staple projects, run copies, help with bulletin boards or classroom projects are greatly appreciated. No Spanish required to help, though we love talking to Heritage speakers! Ready to volunteer or want to donate to the classroom? Please check out the Parent Information Center on my Website.
Sincerely,
Ms. Peplinski
