Hello! Bonjour! こんにちは! 你好! 안녕하세요! Здравствуйте! హలో! Ola!
My name is Sarah Taylor and I'm the English Language Teacher at King. I'm excited to be a part of this wonderful community! I've been teaching for 10 years - 7 for Ann Arbor public schools. I have a B.A. in Socio-Cultural Anthropology from BYU and a Master of Arts in Education from the University of Michigan. I've taught first grade, third grade and fifth grade prior to taking some time off to spend with my family. I have three amazing boys and a mischievous mini-dachshund named Oscar. When I returned to work, I chose teaching English because the international community is close to my heart. I've always loved the place where language, culture and education intersect and I look forward to meeting you there!
My favorite children's book is Du Iz Tak? by Carson Ellis because it reminds us all what it's like to learn a new language (in this case it's bug language!), and what we can do to communicate when we don't have the words.
