• What a pleasure it is to teach at Wines School!   I grew up in Ann Arbor and attended Burns Park, Angell, Tappan and Huron High schools.  Go Rats!  My first degree is from the University of Michigan in Psychology and English Education.  I moved to New York and began graduate school at New York University while working at a French bilingual school, Fleming School, and Brearley School.  I moved to Portland, Oregon where I was principal at St. Clare School and completed my Masters in Education at Portland State University.  Moving back to Ann Arbor, I earned my M.S. in Information from the University of Michigan.  I have been at Wines since 2007.  I definitely have the best job in the world!

As you might imagine, I love literature, especially poetry, history, and mysteries.  I try to visit my home in Glen Arbor as often as possible where I can read, enjoy nature, explore the beaches, ride my bike, and do watercolors.  I have a son, Ben, and two sweet kitties!

Please visit the library website to find out about our activities.  You can link to my other websites, such as Building Bridges and the various Gears sites there as well.
