Ms. Madeline Micou
2024 Grade Counselor
Curriculum Lead - Mental Health Support, Restorative Practices & Community Engagement
I was born and raised in Ypsilanti/Ann Arbor, Michigan - and I am a proud alumni of Carpenter Elementary, Scarlett Middle School, and Pioneer High School. I attended Western Michigan University, where I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Secondary Education (English) and a Master of Arts degree in Secondary School Counseling. I come from a family of committed educators and I’m privileged to serve the Scarlett youth and families in this capacity.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, music, shopping, and spending time with my husband and three sons. I am passionate about empowering young people to invest in themselves through the educational experience and to take care of themselves and one another.

Ms. Robyn K. Watson
2025 Grade Counselor
Curriculum Lead - College and Career Counseling/Development
Born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, I am a proud graduate from Pittsfield, Scarlett, and Huron. I did move away for a bit, but Ann Arbor is a really cool town that brought me back. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree from Western Michigan University with teaching certifications in Earth & Environmental Science, Career & Technical - Visual Arts, and Music/Vocal Performance. I earned a Master’s Degree in School and Agency based Counseling from Siena Heights University. I speak fluent teenager, thanks to my 15yo and all of my #ScarlettNation family. I am so grateful to help young people navigate the world and develop a vision of success for themselves and their future.
In my free time I like to “live in the forest” as my 12 yo says, hike/backpack/overland, paddleboard, love all music, local food, and hanging with my kids & doing whatever event they are into. Some of my favorite moments in life are happening right now! This year I’m hoping to keep rollin!
