I was born and raised in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.  I attended The University of Alabama and earned a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education.  Roll Tide! 

I later earned a master's degree in early childhood education from Concordia University, Saint Paul.  I have been teaching since 2014 and enjoy being a part of the Mitchell Mustangs.  

 

When not teaching at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and daughter, teaching baton and dance classes, keeping up with Alabama football and the SEC, and watching all kinds of reality tv.
