My name is Sarah Schemanske and I love inspiring young engineers and computer scientists with the Project Lead the Way (PLTW) curriculum. I am so excited for the opportunity to teach my passion every day!
I joined the AAPS PLTW cohort in 2016. Prior to coming to Ann Arbor, I was a classroom teacher for 11 years in North Carolina and Clinton, Michigan. My classroom teaching experience includes 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Albion College and my Master's Degree in Reading from Appalachian State University.
I am also a PLTW Master Teacher and train teachers from across the country in the PLTW Launch Curriculum. In my free time I enjoy playing soccer, riding my bike, spending time with my family and watching sports. Go Blue!!
