I received a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Florida Atlantic University and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Concordia University, Ann Arbor.  I have seventeen years of varied experience in the field of education encompassing kindergarten, fourth grade, reading and mathematics intervention in first through fourth grade, special education for students with autism, and administration.

I am looking forward to beginning this new chapter at Carpenter Elementary, getting to know the community and working in collaboration with students, families, and the amazing instructional and support staff at Carpenter.

I reside in Ann Arbor with my husband, our three children, and our two Labrador retrievers.  I have many hobbies however enjoy traveling with my family, great food, and flying in hot air balloons the most!
