This is my first year at Mitchell Elementary.   I graduated from Central Michigan University for my undergraduate degree in education and received my ESL certification from Oakland University.  I completed my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction, Literacy emphasis, from University of Texas Arlington. I have taught in Australia, Missouri, Texas, and Minnesota, but am happy to be back in my home state. When I am not teaching and/or learning how to better reach all learners, I enjoy spending time outside with my husband, son, and dog.  I also enjoy reading and working out.
