Superintendent's Message Honoring the Class of 2023

Hello AAPS Community, 

Congratulations to the 1,400 members of the Ann Arbor Public Schools Class of 2023!

It has been a tremendous 2023 graduation season in the Ann Arbor Public Schools community as we have celebrated the Class of 2023 with commencement ceremonies for: Community High School, Huron High School, Pathways High School and Ann Arbor Adult Education, Pioneer High School and Skyline High School. 

It has been an honor to join together with our teachers, support staff and school leaders, along with parents, families and friends, and our Ann Arbor community, to publicly honor and celebrate each graduate as they achieve this milestone of high school graduation.

We are proud of the remarkable strength and perseverance our 2023 graduates have shown in traversing their high school careers during a tumultuous time of a global pandemic and historic disruption. 

We are deeply grateful for the extraordinary efforts of our teachers, support staff and leaders, parents, families, friends and the entire Ann Arbor community who have worked together in support of our students as they have grown throughout their years in our schools. 

These remarkable graduates are evidence of the commitment to excellence within the Ann Arbor Public Schools community. We are so very proud.
