Born and raised in Detroit, attending public schools there. Graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor's Degree in Health Administration. I later obtained a Human Resources Certificate from Washtenaw Community College. My husband of 37 years (retired AAPS teacher) and I raised four children in the Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti area. I was a stay-at-home Mom for 8.5 years while taking classes towards my degree. I worked for Ypsilanti Community Schools for 15 years in various roles prior to being hired by Ann Arbor Public Schools. My first year in Ann Arbor I was assigned to Haisley. This is my sixth year working with the marvelous staff at Mitchell, home of the Mustangs!
