Hello and welcome to Kindergarten!

My name is Brookelynn McPeake, and I am so excited to begin my second year at Carpenter! I graduated from Eastern Michigan University with my bachelor's in Elementary Education with an Early Childhood focus. I am also enrolled at Eastern in a Reading Master’s program. Last year, I taught first grade and I'm excited to teach kinder this year. 

When I am not teaching or doing classwork, I can be found at home caring for my 7-month old daughter and two Boston Terriers. My husband and I are HUGE Detroit Lions fans so we go to every game we get a chance to. Hopefully this year is Super Bowl year for our lovable Lions. I also enjoy watching Michigan Football too. I love reading and try to do so as much as possible. 

I look forward to a great year and cannot wait to get started.
