My name is Mrs. Lauren Giardinelli, and this is my third year teaching fourth grade in Ann Arbor Public Schools. The 2023-2024 school year is my first year at Carpenter Elementary School and I am so excited to become a part of the Cougar family!
I am originally from Ann Arbor and went to Ann Arbor Public Schools from K-12. I am an alumni of Haisley, Forsythe, and Pioneer. I received a B.A. in Elementary Education from Michigan State University with specializations in Integrated Science and Urban Education. I earned a M.A. in Educational Studies from the University of Michigan. So, I say both, “Go Green!” and “Go Blue!” I have experience teaching Pre-K, Kindergarten, and second grade in Ann Arbor. In my free time I love to travel, go to concerts, hike with my Bernese Mountain Dog named Shadow, and go camping in the summer. I am a big fan of Jurassic Park, Star Wars, Pokémon, and LEGO.
