Reserving a Facility
It is the mission of the Board of Education to make school facilities available to the community. We welcome the use of our buildings by school groups, community groups, and private organizations. Facilitating community access to schools is an important goal of the Community Education and Recreation office.
AAPS is pleased to welcome back community groups that focus on student-centered activities to our buildings during the after-school and evening hours. Student-centered activities include Science Olympiad, Girls on the Run, and scouting groups.
Beginning March 7, student-centered community groups will be able to request after-school and evening use of elementary and middle schools on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays only. Custodial and other fees may apply, depending on the group and activity. AAPS will approve groups’ use of building spaces at its own discretion. Food will not be permitted in any facilities during the spring of 2022.
Groups using school buildings must follow the most up-to-date AAPS COVID-19 mitigation protocols.
If you are interested in using one of the elementary or middle school facilities after normal school hours, please do the following:
1) Read through the rental regulations for facility use.
2) Complete this form and submit at least three to five business days prior to your preferred start date.
3) Your request will be reviewed and you will be given an update within one week. Final determinations may take longer, depending on the school schedule.
Please direct your questions to (734) 994-2300, ext. 53244 or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
