Welcome to Abbot Elementary, I am fortunate to serve as the principal of this warm and welcoming school. This is my 14th year as principal of Abbot and my 16th year as an elementary principal. Previously, I taught at the elementary and middle school levels.

My family includes my husband Paul and my son Kyle, who will begin college soon. I also have two daughters, Alex and Rachel,  I'm fortunate to have two grandsons.   

At Abbot, we nurture and support a dynamic learning community that works collaboratively to strengthen the academic and social achievement of students and the relationship between home, school, and community. 

Abbot offers many opportunities for parent involvement through volunteering in the classroom and through our wonderful PTO. Our PTO supports many assemblies along with daytime and evening activities.
