For grades Kindergarten - 12th, students are guaranteed a space in their zoned school as long as they live within the boundaries of the Ann Arbor Public Schools.

The Ann Arbor Public Schools Young 5s program is an optional opportunity for those students who meet the age criteria for entrance. Enrollment is limited to space availability and is not guaranteed at neighborhood schools. For the 2024-25 school year, students must turn five years old between May 1 - December 1, 2024. Neighborhood applications are currently being accepted. SOC applications will be accepted from May 29 - June 27, pending space availability. More information can be found here.

For families that live within the boundaries of the Ann Arbor Public School district but would like to attend a school that is not their zoned school. More information on In-District Transfers can be found here. 

For families that live outside the Ann Arbor Public School attendance area. An address in one of the following counties is required: Washtenaw, Ingham, Jackson, Lenawee, Livingston, Monroe, Oakland, or Wayne. We are not currently accepting additional SOC applications. Ann Arbor Open and Community High School offer an annual lottery for admittance. Students must meet AAPS residency requirements. More information can be found here.
