The Ann Arbor Public Schools has partnered with PowerSchool Enrollment to allow parents to pre-enroll their students online. Please see our Who Can Apply page for more information.Anyone wishing to enroll their children (K-12) at their neighborhood school may begin the process here by filling out the pre-enrollment questionnaire below.Families wishing to apply for the Young Fives program, In-District Transfer, Schools of Choice, or Non-Resident Child of Employee are required to complete the pre-enrollment questionnaire below, when available (see the In-District Transfer and Schools of Choice links above for more information). I want to enroll my child into the CURRENT school year (2020-21)
For the current school year, Ann Arbor Public Schools residents may enroll their child into into their attendance area school.
Students must turn 5 by December 1, 2020 to be eligible for Kindergarten enrollment for the current school year. To apply for the Young Fives program, the student must turn 5 between May 1, 2020 and December 1, 2020.
In-District Transfer and Schools of Choice (for non-residents) are no longer available for the current school year.
Once you submit your pre-enrollment, you will receive an immediate confirmation by email. Within one (1) business day, you will receive another email with next steps in the enrollment process.

I want to pre-enroll my child for the NEXT school year (2021-22)
Pre-enrollment for next school year (2021-22), for Ann Arbor Public Schools residents (both for attendance area schools and in-district transfer), is not yet available. We anticipate pre-enrollment to become available in the coming weeks and advise families to check back weekly for updates.
School of Choice for non-residents is expected in April. We advise families to check back weekly, starting in March, for updates on that process. Dates TBD. Please see our Schools of Choice page for more information.
