Bus routes and times will be posted by mid-day on Monday, August 16. AAPS is currently working with the Durham Transportation team to finalize all bus routes. It is the consistent practice of AAPS to publish bus routes two weeks prior to the start of school. The updated bus routes, pick up and drop off times will be listed here: AAPS Bus Schedules as well as the AAATA bus routes that serve many of our high school students.
In addition to posting the updated bus routes families who are impacted by bus route changes will receive an email from their school this week or next week with specific information.
Every summer AAPS reviews bus routes to comply with Board Policy 3760- Transportation: following the 1.5 mile walk zone, for safety and efficiency of district operations.
AAPS works closely with the City of Ann Arbor to make walking and biking route improvements following the Safe Routes to School initiatives.
We strive to not only provide safe busing but to also reflect the commitment by AAPS to the Safe Routes to School initiatives as well as sustainability and reducing our carbon footprint.
AAPS has partnered with Durham School Services to provide bus transportation for our students.Durham Transportation is accepting applications for bus drivers and assistants

The Ann Arbor Public Schools is excited to share news with those students and parents that utilize district-provided bus service. Our school bus partner, Durham School Services has provided an application, Bus Tracker, that will allow parents and guardians to view the location of their child(ren)’s bus in real time with relationship to their assigned bus stop. This application is available through a web browser or the app stores. Bus Tracker enables parents and guardians to view multiple stops on an assigned route, including the scheduled arrival time for each stop. The service is free of charge to parents/guardians and provided at no additional cost to the school districts serviced by Durham School Services. Use of the application is voluntary.
