• Want to play adult sports but don’t have a team? 

    Rec & Ed offers a fun opportunity for adults in the Ann Arbor area to meet other sports-minded individuals through our "Free Agent" teams. These teams are perfect for people who are new to the Ann Arbor area or for those who are looking for a way to be active. Free agent softball and kickball teams are a great way to expand your circle of friends. To register for a free agent team, click the link below for the night and the league that suits you best.

    Adult Basketball Interest Form - we are gauging interest to begin the process of reinstating our adult basketball program! This form is not only collecting interest for leagues, but interest for drop-in's in the meantime.

    Rec & Ed offers the following Fall 2024 Free Agent teams:

    • Softball Free Agent teams - 5 men and 5 women play at a time. The season starts the week of August 19, 2024. Teams play 10 games and the league takes 5-7 weeks. A minimum of 7 men and 7 women are needed for a Co-Rec team to be formed. A minimum of 12-14 guys are needed for a Men's/Women's team to be formed.  $85 per person. 
    • Co-Rec Kickball Free Agent teams - The season starts the week of August 19, 2024. Teams play 10 games and the league takes 5-7 weeks. A minimum of 7 men and 7 women are needed for a Co-Rec team to be formed. $60 per person.
    • Indoor Volleyball Free Agent teams - starts the week of September 9th. Teams play 10 matches. A minimum of 6 players are needed for a men's/women's team, a minimum of 3 men/3 women needed for a COREC team to be formed.Contact brinsone@a2schools.org for cost.

    The Free Agent softball/kickball team fees cover 10 games, umpire fees and a team practice permit. The players may pick their team name but team t-shirts are not provided. 

    Placement on a team is not guaranteed. 

    No refs in sand volleyball.
