Through thick and thin
During National Volunteer Appreciation week, we asked teachers to share their appreciation for their AAPS Strategic Partnership Volunteers.
Taylor McCollin has been helping out in Ms. Noey's Kindergarten class all year. Taylor is a U-M student who volunteered at Bach as part of the K-grams BookMARK student group.
As the daughter of a school teacher, Taylor understands the importance of the work teachers do every day and the need for some extra support. Taylor truly believes that "Education is a pillar of community. . ."
Kaylee Noey, Kindergarten teacher at Bach, shares this appreciation of Taylor:
“Taylor is quick to help, endlessly patient, and she joyfully serves our Kindergarten community. She faithfully comes every week to be with us, rain or shine. She has stuck with us through thick and thin! We love our time with Taylor and are so thankful to have been able to spend the year with her!”
