Fundraising Event

Please consider donating to and/or joining us in the Out of the Darkness walk tomorrow, Sept. 21st @ West Park. It's sponsored by the AFSP (American Foundation for Suicide Prevention) and helps to raise funds for suicide prevention programs. This year Dave Almassy and Heather Schimmel will be team captains for Skyline's SWAT team. SWAT team is Skyline's survivors of suicide group. Orchestra Fundraiser

Skyline orchestra car wash! Is your car in need of a wash? Tomorrow from 9:00-5:00, Skyline orchestra is hosting a free car wash at the BP gas station on Plymouth and Green. Show up to support your orchestra (and get a free car wash!)

Cooking Club

Join Cooking Club today right after school in room A315. We will be make assorted cookies! Please bring $1 to cover the cost of ingredients. Cooking Club is tomorrow after school in room A315. Hope to see you then!

Homecoming Updates: 

Homecoming will be the second week of October and more specific information will be coming in the next several weeks. If you’re bringing a guest who isn't a Skyline students - dance guests forms are due Monday, Oct 7th by 2:45pm. Forms can be found in both SLC office, outside A115 or under the student space tab on Skyline's website.  

Homecoming Dance tickets will be on sale during both lunches Tuesday, October 8th thru Friday, October 11th during both lunches for $30. Prices will increase to $35 at the doors the night of the dance. All Skyline students and guests must have a ticket and school ID.  

If you have any homecoming questions, please see Mrs Bezeau in Room A115. 


Are you interested in business? Do you want to gain experience in marketing, finance, hospitality, or management? If so, Join the Skyline DECA chapter. The first DECA meeting will be Monday 9/23 in the BMIT Magnet Room, C205. 

Chess Club

Attention all students and staff. Join us on Tuesday September 24th for our first chess club meeting of the year. We welcome all players of any skill level. Come to room C310 after school on Tuesdays.  

Do you love doing rigorous mathematics for fun? 

Sign up to take the MMPC (Michigan Math Prize Competition) with your math teacher or Mr. O in C310. The cost is $5. The first portion of the test will be given Tuesday, October 8 during 1st and 2nd hours. Previous winners have won money! The deadline for signing up for this test is Monday, Sept 23.

Women in Science and Engineering Club

Are you interested in becoming a scientist or engineer? Want to help educate the youth about careers in STEM? Join the Women in Science and Engineering Club! Meetings are every Friday from 2:40-3:15 in Mrs. Warner's room, C412, and all genders are welcome! Email if you have any questions!

Hey Skyline! 

Do you want to be a part of the restarting of Skyline's newspaper? Then come to the first meeting on Monday, September 23rd, from 2:45 to 3:30 in room A305. The purpose of his meeting is to assess the interest in reviving the newspaper before proceeding with getting it approved.
