Congratulations
Congratulations to some of our outstanding Skyline Students who won the 3 on 3 Basketball Championship at the TWALL Foundation last Friday. The winners won every game and the team was made up of Mohamed Kaba, Kavon Wilson, Colin Turner and Derek Weston Great job fellas!
Attention seniors!
Your senior photos are due by this Friday, November 8. If you do not submit a photo, the yearbook staff will use your school photo instead. Photos should be of the head and shoulders (no profile shots) with a 300 DPI or higher resolution. Please submit your photo to http://www.yearbooknerds.com/
WISE Fundraiser
Help support the Women in Science and Engineering Club! We will be selling donuts and hot chocolate tomorrow before school in the student entrance. It's $1 for hot chocolate, $1.50 for a donut, $2 for both! See you there!
Rising Scholars Event
The Rising Scholars present our second annual Saturday School, this Saturday from 8:30-11:30am. Come and get help from teachers. Grab a quick breakfast and get things done before the deadline to turn in all work for the trimester approaches.
Skyline Yearbook
Skyline Yearbook needs your help figuring out who the school mascot is! If you know who’s behind the mask or want to frame one of your friends, fill out our survey at bit.ly/ybmascot, all lowercase. Skyline Theatre
Skyline Theatre is excited to announce the Blue Sky New Works Festival. We are seeking original plays and monologues written by Skyline students to be performed as part of this upcoming event. Student written plays should run between five to ten minutes and monologues no longer than three minutes. Submissions are due by the end of the day Thursday, December 12 and can be sent to blueskynewworks@gmail.com Selected scripts and monologues will be performed on stage by Skyline students later this year. Get creative and get writing!

Stratford Festival in Michigan
The Stratford Festival's production of William Shakespeare's "The Tempest" will be screened at the Michigan Theater on November 17th at 2 p.m. Don't miss this chance to experience Canada's finest theatre right here in Ann Arbor!!
SAS Gobbles for Good Food Donation Fund Drive
Collections will take place next week starting Monday November 11th thru Friday November 15 at both lunches and during Skytime on Wednesday November 13. Proceeds will go to Food Gatherers and the Sky Food Pantry. This is a grade level class competition to see who can collect the most money. A large turkey with a scenic background will be on the wall right around the corner of the elevator. As students and staff donate they will put their donation tabs on the turkey or in the background of the turkey. Each grade level will be represented by a different fall color: 9th grade - Green, 10th grade - Yellow, 11th grade - Orange, 12th grade - Red, Staff - Beige You will receive a tab item to write your name on and fill in our turkey and scenic background: $1 donation is a turkey feather, $5 donation is a fall leaf, $10 donation is a pilgrim hat, $20 donation is a hand drawn turkey - like you used to make in elementary school! At end of fund drive event one student from each grade level who donated and wrote their name down on the $1 or $5 tab items will be put into a drawing to win a Sky t-shirt. Also 1 student from each grade level who donated to the $10 or $20 tab items will win a Sky Hoodie. Our school wide goal is $1,500.00!
Skyline Boys & Girls Bowling
There will be an informational meeting this Friday, 11/8 in room A212 during 10:20 (first lunch) and 11:35 (second lunch) Come and find out more about the sport that anyone can do. Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors & Seniors are encouraged to join. No experience required. Let’s BOWL Eagles!
