Good Morning Skyline! 

Congratulations Homebuilders

Two of Skyline’s homebuilding students competed at the Region  2W Skills USA carpentry competition with Aiden Anderson earning second place and moving on to competing for the state title in April.  Caden Laken would have placed third if he was competing to move on.

Congratulations Power Lifting Team

Anthony Shaw JV Power Lifting posted a total of 1,015lbs (up from 985lbs; a 30lb increase), achieving PRs on 2 lift lifts with a 385lb squat and a 420lb deadlift; earning him a 5th place finish at states. Congratulations Anthony Vivian Matusko will be headed down to Columbus this Thursday to compete in the American Open at the Arnold Sports Festival in hopes to improve her national ranking in the 55kg weight class as one of the strongest high school athletes in the nation. Vivian has put in an amazing amount of hard work and dedication to this next competition. Finally Gage Robinson will be competing in The Michigan High School Power Lifting Varsity state meet looking to best his 500lb deadlift, 455lb squat, and 215lb bench press securing a top spot as one of the strongest high school athletes in the state. 


Prime for Life

Prime for Life is cancelled after school today.

Attention Spring Sport Athletes 

Please make sure you login to your registration account on Check that you are fully registered before the season begins on March 9th. If you have not begun the registration process yet, you can find the information on the Skyline Athletic website at You must be fully registered and approved before you can participate. Check your account to make sure you have checked the sport you are interested in so the coach can see you on their list of athletes. Thank you.


Rising Scholars

The monthly Rising Scholar meeting will be held this Thursday 3/5/2020 in room C404. The meeting is during early and late lunches. Please be sure to attend. See Ms. Whitehorn if you have any questions.


PROM Dress Sale

The 8th Annual PROM Dress Sale is a great place to buy some great dresses at a great price. This event is Sunday, March 22, 2020 from 11am-4pm at the Doubletree by Hilton formerly the Holiday Inn North Campus. Over 900 beautiful prom gowns will be available for just $10-$35 each. The sale will also offer more than 350 lovely special occasion dresses that would be perfect for graduation or Homecoming.


Annual Rotary Food Drive

Annual Rotary Food Drive to support Food Gatherers We are all thankful that our children who have food insecurity at home have access to meals while they are in school. However, access to food during the summer months can be challenging for many of our families. The food drive will be March 9-20, this year.
