College Night

The Skyline Cube & Counseling Team are hosting COLLEGE NIGHT, intended for juniors and their parents tonight from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm. Don't miss this great opportunity to prepare for the college application and admissions process. Our University of Michigan and Michigan State Admissions liaisons will each host a session specifically for our Skyline students and parents. In addition, Kalamazoo College, Eastern Michigan University, University of Toledo, and Washtenaw Community College will also be here to address a variety of topics. Expert advice and handouts will be available related to international students, NCAA: sports in college, essay writing, SAT/ACT testing prep, ordering transcripts and resume building through Naviance, understanding the Common App, HBCUs, financial planning and scholarships, pre-med tips, support services in college, career resources, military options, and a helpful college preparation timeline. Counselors and Mrs. Haller will also be available to answer questions.  


Rising Scholars

The monthly Rising Scholar meeting will be held today in room C404. The meeting is during early and late lunches. Please be sure to attend. See Ms. Whitehorn if you have any questions.



Interested in current events or debate? Join us after school today in Ms. Barton’s room, C417, for Junior State of America! This week’s topic is “Has India’s Prime Minister reshaped the Indian government into a non-democracy?” See you later!


PROM Dress Sale

The 8th Annual PROM Dress Sale is a great place to buy some great dresses at a great price. This event is Sunday, March 22, 2020 from 11am-4pm at the Doubletree by Hilton formerly the Holiday Inn North Campus. Over 900 beautiful prom gowns will be available for just $10-$35 each. The sale will also offer more than 350 lovely special occasion dresses that would be perfect for graduation or Homecoming.

Annual Rotary Food Drive

Annual Rotary Food Drive to support Food Gatherers We are all thankful that our children who have food insecurity at home have access to meals while they are in school. However, access to food during the summer months can be challenging for many of our families. The food drive will be March 9-20, this year.

Attention Spring Sport Athletes 

Please make sure you login to your registration account on Check that you are fully registered before the season begins on March 9th. If you have not begun the registration process yet, you can find the information on the Skyline Athletic website at You must be fully registered and approved before you can participate. Check your account to make sure you have checked the sport you are interested in so the coach can see you on their list of athletes. Thank you.



Tryouts for Softball begin next Mon March 9 from 3-5:00. Softball tryouts are here!! Come to the Weight room hallway at 3:00 on Monday. See coach Stange in the hallway for the full week schedule. Posters will be up around the school with the full schedule as well.
