Good Morning Skyline!

 

Attention ALL students:

Tri 3 schedules will be passed out during your 3rd hour class this Thursday March 12th.  Extra copies will not be printed. Please review them. If you have an issue, see your Counselor during YOUR lunch. Schedule Changes are only allowed if  you have a hole in your schedule or have a class that you have already taken and passed or you require a level change in a course. Deadline to complete class changes for Tri 3 is Wednesday March 18th at 3 pm.

 

Bring back your books

Attention students! Please return your textbooks and novels from tri 2 to the Book Depository this week. There is a book drop installed in the door for your convenience if the Depository is not open. Book distribution for tri 3 will begin the week of March 16th. Thank you! 

 

DECA

Congratulations to the following students to qualifying to represent Michigan DECA at the International Career Development Conference in Nashville Tennessee this April: Nishant Domala, Chloe Harper, Deniz Kirca, Henry Lukela, Evan Maley, Rohan Sharma, Vinamra Swaroop, Stacey Warner, Michael Zhou. And a BIG Congratulations to Anusheh Chaudry for being elected as Vice President of Michigan DECA. 

 

Weightlifting

Gage Robinson competed in The MHSPLA Varsity State meet finishing with a 465lb squat, and 225lb bench and a 505lb deadlift securing a 7th place finish with a 1,195lb total. The future is bright for him.  Congratulations Gage!

 

Seniors

Any seniors looking to attend Washtenaw Community College next year? There is a scholarship available through the Ann Arbor Community Foundation: Morse B. PROM Dress Sale

The 8th Annual PROM Dress Sale is a great place to buy some great dresses at a great price. This event is Sunday, March 22, 2020 from 11am-4pm at the Doubletree by Hilton formerly the Holiday Inn North Campus. Over 900 beautiful prom gowns will be available for just $10-$35 each. The sale will also offer more than 350 lovely special occasion dresses that would be perfect for graduation or Homecoming.

 

Annual Rotary Food Drive

Annual Rotary Food Drive to support Food Gatherers We are all thankful that our children who have food insecurity at home have access to meals while they are in school. However, access to food during the summer months can be challenging for many of our families. The food drive will be March 9-20, this year.

 

Softball

Tryouts for Softball begin today from 3-5:00. Softball tryouts are here!! Come to the Weight room hallway at 3:00 today. See coach Stange in the hallway for the full week schedule. Posters will be up around the school with the full schedule as well.
