Skyline Bocce Ball Team                        

The Skyline Bocce Ball team is holding tryouts for next year’s squad.  Even if you’ve never played Bocce before, and have never lagged a pallino, we’ll teach you how to spock and block and volo.  Bring your competitive spirit, and meet after school in Ms. Ray’s room, A306.  

 

Smells Like Teen Spirit                           

It's official!  The 2023 edition of Teen Spirit has been printed!  If you are interested in getting a copy, stop by the writing center to pick one up!  Thank you, Skyline for all of your great submissions.

 

Senior Tech Return                                  

Seniors!  The moment you’ve all been waiting for has finally arrived!  Tech Return!  TODAY from 1pm until 4pm, there will be a table set up in the Commons so you can turn in your Chromebook and charger.  Don’t forget the charger! 

 

Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon         

The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon opens tonight at 7pm in the Black Box Theatre.  If you aren’t able to attend tonight’s Premiere, the second, and final show, is tomorrow evening.  Tickets are on sale now at showtix4u.com!

Seniors - you MUST clear up all your obligations by June 1st, or you will NOT be given your cap & gown for graduation.  Even if you THINK you’ve turned everything in already, look for an email from the Book Depository, or stop by the Book Depository, to be sure.  

 

The Pirates of Penzance                                     

Next fall, Skyline Theatre will be invaded by pirates - and you could be one of them! Skyline Theatre will be holding auditions for their fall production of "The Pirates of Penzance" on Tuesday, May 30th at 4PM in the black box theatre, C204.  Audition packets are available now in the main office, choir room, the black box theatre, or online on Skyline Theatre's website: skylinehstheatre.org.  

 

Lunch On Wednesdays                                       

Change up where you eat lunch today!  Come eat in Room C210 and meet some new people.  Ozone House is hosting a safe place to eat, connect, and play games during lunch.

WCC HBCU Day                                        

HBCU is an acronym that stands for Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

 

Are you interested in learning more about HBCUs?  Washtenaw Community College is hosting Washtenaw Historically Black College and University Day on Friday, June 2nd.  Students will experience an immersive HBCU experience, bringing HBCU culture to Washtenaw County!  

 

The day will include:

 

Presentations about WCC HBCU Pathway

Presentations from our HBCU partners (Jackson State University, Central State University, Southern University New Orleans, Mississippi Valley State University, and more)

WCC & HBCU Swag

HBCU marching bands

Divine 9 Fraternity/Sorority Stroll Off

Music, food, giveaways, and much more

High school students will have the opportunity to apply to WCC

 

Skyline is organizing bus travel to this free fun day.
