June 9, 2023 - Superintendent's End of Year Message

Hello AAPS Students, Team and Community,

We honor and celebrate each and every student as they complete this 2022-23 school year today. This has been a year of hard work and exploration, learning and growth, challenge and celebration for our students, teachers and staff.

Job well done, and many thanks to our amazing educators, to all on Team AAPS who have given so much each day in support of our students this school year. Team, thank you for your commitment and investment in our children.

Parents, families and community - we are so very grateful for all your partnership and support of our 17,000+ students, our talented and committed school teams, and our 32 neighborhood schools that we are so fortunate to share in this Ann Arbor community.

In working together, we all do our part to enrich and ensure growth and opportunities for our students; we strengthen our Ann Arbor community through service and support of our children and our schools.

Congratulations to all for such a strong finish to this 2022-23 school year!

As we wrap up this school year, I hope you enjoy this beautiful artwork from Johanna, a 5th grader in Ms. Magar’s beautiful art classroom at Logan.

Wishing you a safe, healthy and peaceful summer,

Jeanice Kerr Swift
