MediaCast: Video Distribution System

The MediaCast video distribution system has been expanded for all schools. The system will provide teachers the ability to show live TV, search for video stored on the system, and create new content to add to the system. In addition students will be able to access the system from home for class work, research and projects. MediaCast has been integrated with Moodle allowing teachers to place access to videos and video segments on their Moodle courses for students to view.

For more information on the system please contact your media specialist. Overview training on MediaCast was available during the January 28th professional development day. Watch for training sessions at staff meetings and through the afterschool technology series.
