Childcare Scholarships

Child Care Network's (CCN) Family Support Program (FSP)

  • Provides childcare tuition scholarships for families who need help paying for childcare. CCN FSP serves families living in Washtenaw, Genesee, Hillsdale, Jackson, Lenawee, & Monroe counties.
  • ​​​​​​​CCN FSP provides scholarship assistance to families with children ages 0-14 who are in need of childcare services, before and after-school care, and/or care throughout the summer months.
  • Childcare programs providing these services must be licensed in the State of Michigan.
  • Families interested in CCN FSP can visit the website www.childcarenetwork.org/family-support-program for more information, and can complete the online Intake Form to get on CCN FSP's waitlist for assistance.

Grandparents Raising Granchildren

  • Grandparents Raising Grandchildren: Grandparents Raising Grandchildren (GRG) program provides grandparents and other relatives caring for children with information about self-care, children’s needs, and the assurance that families with generational gaps are not alone. Adults who are caregivers of children under the age of 18 and who live in Washtenaw County are eligible. There are no costs to participate. However, cost-share contributions and donations are accepted. Website.

Free Pack and Plays and Safe Sleep Training

  • The Washtenaw Area Council for Children provides free Pack and Plays to Medicaid Eligible families who complete a Safe Sleep Training. Staff can complete a referral form for the interested parent. Safe Sleep Referral Form.​​​​​​​
