Support for Urgent Mental Health Needs

- Ozone House's Crisis Line is available 24/7 for youth looking for support or are at risk of homelessness. (734) 662-2222
- Ozone House Prevention and Diversion Program: This program serves youth (ages 10-18) who are at risk for involvement with the Juvenile Justice System or other unsafe issues such as but not limited to homelessness, family crisis, mental health support and gang involvement. - SafeHouse Center is available 24/7 to help survivors of domestic violence or sexual assault. Helpline: (734) 995-5444. Spanish Language Website.

- Corner Health Mental Health Services: Offers LGBTQ+ sensitive care, for youth and young adults who identify as LGBTQ+, transgender care, behavioral health care for underrepresented racial, ethnic and religious youth and young adults, substance use support and care, psychotherapy for expectant mothers, and young mothers, support for individuals who fall on the Autism Spectrum, support and help for individuals with ADHD, ADD, and other learning difficulties, mindfulness-based approaches to therapy, and so much more.
- RAHS Clinic at Pioneer High School: Learn more about RAHS-Pioneer and Behavioral Health services. RAHS offers a variety of services to meet the behavioral health needs of teens, including counseling services for depression and anxiety, stress management groups, and support groups for grief or anger that combine care for our minds as well as our bodies to help alleviate symptoms. Medical doctors are also available at each health center to assist with behavioral health issues that require medication. Virtual appointments are also available. Available to all students at any school.
- Jewish Family Services - Thrive Counseling is accepting referrals for Trauma Systems Therapy for student refugees. Treatment for young people aged 12+. Flyer here.
- Hope Clinic - Free Clinical Counseling Sessions are available for the uninsured to talk through pain, sadness, or grief that occasionally feels unmanageable. Appointments are required for all services. Call 734.484.2989. Appointments Monday-Friday. Can also help you navigate health insurance options. AAPS is pleased to offer a free and confidential website for families, ParentGuidance.org. This site was developed by licensed therapists who provide trusted and specialized courses, professional support and a safe community for parents to learn how to support their child. Parents can also get answers to mental health questions, especially anxiety, depression, self-worth, grief and loss, suicide ideation, family strife and other mental health concerns.
