Summer ESL Academy (SESLA)

Program Description:
Newcomer English Learners (EL) exiting grades K-7 will be invited to participate in SESLA.  During this three-week program, students will engage in a project-based curriculum that supports math, literacy, and English language skills. In addition, workshops for families will be provided to support academic and social resources. 

Goals: 
Develop English language reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills
Develop math skills
Build relationships with teachers, students, and families

Where: Carpenter Elementary

Dates: June 20th through July 7th
Monday - Friday (no school on 7/3 and 7/4
8:30am - 12:30pm (breakfast and lunch provided) 

Enrollment: Enrollment is by invitation only based on student data.
