Program Description:

The OSE Intensive Math Program is an intervention for students with IEPs utilizing Dreambox (1st-8th) computer program. The students will be participating in whole/small group instruction, independent work, math games, Dreambox computer-based program practice, and targeted instruction with the teacher. The teacher will monitor students’ progress during the duration of the program and adjust instruction based on need. Students will be grouped into classes based on similar math needs, levels, and/or age. The student’s IEP case manager will identify potential students for this program and refer them based on data* and identified areas to target during summer. Not all referrals will be admitted into the program due to space, criteria, or other contributing factors. Any student not admitted will be encouraged to register for the general education summer learning programs or other applicable programs.

*Data can include but is not limited to NWEA scores, Dreambox progress, Beginning of Year (BOY) math scores, Academic Data from a Re-Evaluation, or other math measures
