What are Core Performance Indicators
CORE PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
Federal guidelines require each Career & Technical Education (CTE) program to use certain quantitative measures to monitor the quality of the CTE program. These measures are called Core Performance Indicators and they consider academic and technical performance, graduation from high school, placement in post-secondary education, and preparation for the workforce.

CPI SELECTIONS:
1S1 – Academic Attainment/Reading
1S2 – Academic Attainment/Math
2S1 – Technical Skill Attainment
3S1/4S1 – Secondary School Completion/Student Graduation Rates
5S1 – Secondary Placement
6S1 – Nontraditional Participation
6S2 – Nontraditional Completion
