More About Atlas Rubicon

AAPS educators and curriculum leaders work together to create transparent maps of the scope and sequence of learning across hundreds of courses offered in the District. These maps allow educators, students and families to easily view the curriculum expectations of each grade level and subject area. Through the Atlas site, our community may view the guaranteed curriculum, consistent across schools ensuring equity and access to rigorous, challenging, accessible learning experiences. As new curricular resources are adopted and courses are enhanced and improved, the curriculum maps will be updated to reflect those improvements.  

 

Our diverse community is a point of pride for the AAPS. We are enriched by the strong supportive partnerships we have with our families, our hardworking, skilled educators and support staff, and our students who bring such incredible talents, strengths and perspectives to our classrooms every day. 

 

Curriculum mapping is a process of continuous improvement. Carefully reviewing formative and summative assessment data, student anecdotal data and regular surveys, teachers seek to enhance our curriculum and to design for learning in ways that meet the learning needs of all students.
