Middle School Math Testing Out
On this webpage, you will find information about testing for AAPS middle school-level math courses. If you are looking for information about testing out for high school-level courses, please click here. More information about middle school math can be found at the middle school math curriculum webpage.
It is important to know that testing out is NOT a test of math aptitude or potential. It is a test of current deep math knowledge of the course and content. Testing out indicates mastery and readiness for the next level of instruction. Content for the course tested will NOT be addressed in the subsequent course. Sample questions can be found on the following documents. We encourage exploration of this material prior to deciding about readiness to test out.
